About this Site

This website was secured early during the 2021 - 2025 legislative period by a then delegate for the US, with the intent to develop the site as a primary starting point for matters of interest for the Swiss Expat community in the US. The idea was inspired by the global umbrella site, www.swisscommunity.org. ​

 

When the US section opted to participate at the direct election of delegates for the 2025 election cycle, we decided to make this site available for a wider audience to introduce the US candidates running for one of the 8 seats at the Council of Swiss Abroad for the 2025 - 2029 legislative period.​

 

The site is maintained and funded on a private initiative. It may therefore take a bit longer for additional content to be added. Every effort is made to update existing content quickly. ​
